mujilen serengge beyei da, 

心是身体的根源，

for the heart is the root of the body;

tob oci, urhu akv, 

正则是不偏不斜，

uprightness means being neither biased nor crooked.

akv ojoro, 

不然的话，

Otherwise, 

gelehe ici haiharafi necin akv ojoro be dahame,

因为会向着恐惧一边倾倒（然后）（内心）变得不平和， 

Because it leans toward fear and the heart becomes unsettled,

ufaracun ereci amba ningge akv, 

（所以）没有比这更大的过失了，

there is no greater fault than this.

tuttu gabtara jurgan de, 

因此对于射箭的意义来说，

Thus, with regard to the true significance of archery,

neneme mujin be tob obure be kicembi, 

首先努力将志向摆正，

one must first strive to set one's intention straight.

mujin serengge mujilen be, 

志向就是这个心，

This intention is none other than the heart.

mujilen tob sere be bahaci, 

如果得到摆正好心态的心，

If the heart is properly aligned,

urhu haihashvn ojoro cisu akv ofi, 

（那么）由于没有偏斜的私人问题，

then, with no personal bias or deviation,

banin buyenin ini cisui hvwaliyasun necin, 

所以本性、情欲就自然地平和了。

one's nature and emotions will naturally become calm and balanced.

gvnin seolen ini cisui narhvn emu ojoro be dahame

既然想法、思虑自然地变得细致且一致了

When one’s thoughts and intentions become naturally refined and aligned,

goibuci ombi, 

就可以射中，

accuracy in archery follows, 

erdemu be cincilaci ombi, 

就可以观察到德行，

and one's virtue is revealed.

古话说过，

As the old saying goes,

ambasa saisa temxen akv sehengge, necin -i arbun kai, 

“君子无所争”（出自《论语》），是平和的样子啊。

'A gentleman does not contend' (Analects) — this reflects a spirit of harmony.

gosingga be gabtara adali sehengge, goibure doro kai, 

“仁者如射”（出自《孟子》），是射中的道理啊。

And 'The benevolent one is like an archer' (Mencius) — this reveals the truth behind hitting the target.

如果要求将这个转化进内心，

If this can be truly integrated into the heart,
